Nashville - State Troopers Arresting Homeless Downtown

“It might be off-putting to have them downtown, but they’re humans, and they have the same rights as everybody else, just because they don’t have a home and they don’t have money”

Nashville is a tourism Mecca and their Nashville Downtown Partnership is aggressively trying to keep it clean and welcoming by hiring off-duty Troopers to arrest homeless individuals violating the 2022 state law making it a felony to camp on public property. Will be interesting to see long term the effects this program has on Downtown Nashville.
