𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙚 electric car plans include refrigerator manufacturer 𝙇𝙂 while 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙡𝙖 plans to remove human drivers from roads by expanding partnership w 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙜 & pushing for $17B expansion of their Austin chip making fab.
Korea IT News recently reported:
'A high-ranking official from the semiconductor industry said that Tesla is strongly asking Samsung to expand the Austin fab in order to strengthen the partnership between the two companies.'
All roads point to a long Austin based partnership between Tesla and Samsung.
Tesla partnering with Samsung on the new FSD chips is in addition to Samsung already providing Tesla smart headlamps and camera modules.
With Apple currently building a huge campus in Austin might LG build new facilities here and cement Austin as the "EV Capital of the World?"
