Mayor's Welcome

Mayor Mike Snyder

City of Hutto

Mike Snyder, Hutto resident since 2017, was elected to the City Council in 2019 and to his position as Mayor in 2021 and again in May of 2025. His election platform focused on integrity, transparency, ethics, and putting the Hutto community first in City decision making.

Since studying economics and business management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Mayor Snyder established a successful career as a real estate developer. He worked his way up in the QuikTrip convenience store company, serving as QuikTrip’s Austin-area real estate manager since 2017. His strengths that serve him well both at work and in municipal leadership include relationship building, contract negotiations, financial analysis, data modeling, and strategic planning.
