About the event
Join LinkedGlenn's next great networking event!
We'll start with a project tour of Hines' T3 Eastside mixed-use development. T3 Eastside is constructed using sustainably sourced mass timber wood, a first for both Hines and in Austin to be used in a residential use. T3 (timber, transit, and technology) is a Hines proprietary mass timber creative product, developed in response to evolving tenant requirements.
T3 Eastside contains 15 loft-style units alongside 92,000 square feet of Class A office space in a three-story building directly south of the Saltillo mixed-use development, near downtown, just east of I35.
Tour will be followed by panel conversation of small Texas downtown's as a 21st Century amenity. LinkedGlenn will be chatting with Architect Douglas Moss with Steinberg Hart Architects who grow up in Taylor and is now working on redevelopment of an old church into a mixed-use project called Talbot Commons with workforce housing, a boutique hotel, a restaurant, coffee kiosk and more.
Jamie Crawley, Texas Main Street Architect and Design Lead at Texas Historical Commission will also be joining to discuss how redevelopment projects like Doug's in historic small downtowns can stimulate and transform small towns across Texas and how his group works with Main Street's across Texas.
Happy Hour to follow tour and panel discussion.
